SECTION 22- PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION AND USE:

Our USA-made paint has been independently tested and certified as non-toxic and food safe. Our high-performance, patented, premium enamel paint is specially formulated achieving the highest grade quality, safety approvals and certifications and are subject to the United States Federal Hazardous Substances Act, L AHMA Certified/ASTM D-4236 under the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is California's Prop 65 Compliant, AP Approved. This product is not a toxic or hazardous substance as defined by CFR 1500.3 of the Federal Hazardous substances act and the Children's Safe Products Act and Consumers Product Safety Commission's consumer product regulations and does not require acute or chronic labeling.

Our unique paint is labeled as a craft paint and is for use on the rim of our Family Honor Plate. We do not recommend painting the center of the paint on the center, flat, food surface. Please keep paints away from food. Its highly pigmented color provides superior coverage; perfect for craft and hobby painting projects; including brush painting; detailing; sponging; stenciling; stamping and printing. Our paint is self-priming for use on porous and non-porous surfaces. Dishwasher safe on glass and ceramic.

Preparation for Painting your Honor Plate: We recommend you lay disposable paper down to protect your workspace, wear old clothes as the paint will stain. Clean your Honor Plate thoroughly with Isopropyl Alcohol to remove any oily residue. This is very important for the paint to become permanent. Dry your Honor Plate thoroughly. Moisture will affect the paint’s ability to become permanent.

Painting your Honor Plate: For inspiration, look through the Website and social media sites to see how others have painted their plates and for helpful tips. The paint will become permanent after baking and is food safe but we only recommend painting on the outside rim of the plate leaving the inside flat food surface open to show the graphic and character traits. Windex will easily remove paint on the plate before the plate has been baked. We recommend using only a paper towel (not water) to clean bushes between paint colors to avoid adding moisture to the paint which will affect the paint’s ability to adhere permanently to the plate. Wait 1 hour to allow the paint to dry before baking. Place your Honor Plate in a cold conventional oven and set the temperature to 350 degrees. When the oven has reached 350 degrees, set the timer for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off leaving the honor plate in the oven until it is cool to the touch. Now you may remove your honor plate.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

FET does not maintain this account information, as it is provided to a third party vendor. No sensitive payment information (e.g. credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc.) is stored in our servers. Therefore the burden of PCI Compliance rests solely on Shopify.
